Annual Budget – Approved budgets for the last five years and the proposed budget for the upcoming year.
- Raw Budget – The raw budget file is for the current fiscal year. This file can be downloaded as Excel and is searchable.
Annual Financial Report – Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the last five years. These are annually audited financial statements. Please click to view the City’s “Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting” presented to the City of Georgetown by the Government Finance Officers Association.
Quarterly Reports – The quarterly financial reports present the City’s main sources of revenues and expenditures year-to-date and contain information about the City’s investments and Capital Improvement Program progress.

Bond Rating – A bond issuer’s Bond Rating indicates financial strength or ability to pay a bond’s principal and interest in a timely fashion. Private independent rating services such as Standard and Poor’s, Moody’s and Fitch provide these evaluations. The City of Georgetown obtains a bond rating for each of its bond issues and is currently assigned a Standard & Poor’s rating of “AA+” for General Obligation bonds and “AA” for Utility Revenue bonds.

Fiscal & Budgetary Policy -The broad purpose of the Fiscal and Budgetary Policies is to enable the City to achieve and maintain a long-term stable and positive financial condition, and provide guidelines for the day-to-day planning and operations of the City’s financial affairs.
